Rope Ladder

I think that there should be a new item called a rope ladder. This would hang down from blocks, and they would be crafted from string and sticks. However, if they are hanging freely, then it would be slower to climb than a normal ladder, but if you put a tripwire hook below the bottom of the ladder, then you climb it at the same speed as a normal ladder.

To make the Rope Ladder more useful, mobs should be able to climb normal ladders even if they have to jump to climb it. This would make a great new feature, as I am sure that I would use it, especially if there was a new item called a reel, that when you right-click on it the reel hauls the rope ladder in, and then you right-click it again to let the ladder out. The reel could also be activated by a redstone signal, for example, you could have a hidden target block somewhere, or a hidden lever or button, which will then put the rope ladder down. This would make a simple and easy way to make a hidden sky base when you don't yet have access to elytra.
