the Glow Squid should have an Ability beacuse it's boring now

The glow squid doesn't do much in Minecraft, it's just a glorified reskinned regular squid that glows. I feel like giving the glow squid a special ability/ effect would make it even more different and unique from regular squids.

An ability I would think the glow squid would have would be mesmerized. I imagine when you touch the glow squids ink effect ( that it uses when taking damage ), your water bubbles will " be changed to snore sparkly bubbles, and the bubble bar be filled up. This way, you still don’t know what your air is at  You would be stuck in place and move slowly until the effect wears off.

This would give the glow squid some danger but would not make it too dangerous. I want to know what you think!

    So, they will like paralize you? I think thats a great idea and is also adding some uniqueness to the glow squid! But the effect should only be a few seconds long, because that can quickly become annoying.

    I don't think they should paralize you. The other things could be added. Also, they may make you see things around you (except glow squids) a lot darker, as you have been blinded by the ink

    I agree on the part of it having an ability. I don't agree on the part of it being dangerous.

    Here are some possibilties:

    • Amphibious: I've always been sad at looking at glow squids lacking the ability to breathe when they get pushed out of water by currents, and like nature shouldn't make it happen. So, glow squids being able to live on land.
    • Trail: Leave behind a glowing trail in the water that disappears after about a minute. They need to have a more magical feel, so why not?
