The banner in hand is natural size

I suggest displaying a full size banner in hand (which the banner has in block state). This is necessary so that other players can see from a distance what is depicted on the banner. This will make it possible, for example, to show a "white flag", to issue combat commands using different banners, without using chat.

    That is a great idea! Pillagers do this on their heads already, why can’t players hold it?

    smort!!! wearing it on the head is cool, but... ehhhh idk if balancing it at 90 degrees would be very easy lol. holding it though, that makes sense. very smart
