All ores drop experience

Why do only some ores drop experience? Now that all ores drop an item rather than a block, shouldn't iron, gold, and copper drop experience as well? I'm not sure if it causes an imbalance to the game, but mining could be a good way to passively earn experience. Also could be a good addition in quality of life to Caves & Cliffs II since a major aspect is mining.

  We need this Mojang. I would really appreciate it if you add this. By the way the cave and cliffs update is amazing. Can't wait for wild update and the allay to be added. I was watching Minecraft live.

  Really hope this is added. Really enjoy Minecraft this would be especially awesome with the new raw iron and raw gold. And raw copper.
