Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Wood Colour Inconsistency's

We all know that if you craft a sign out of Birch wood you will get a Birch Sign. If you craft a boat from Jungle planks, you will get a jungle boat. So why do Chests and Crafting Tables not follow this rule. This would be a small but fun and needed change and allow more variation in your builds as well as correcting an inconsistency.
