Weather and avalanches

I have a few ideas for Minecraft that I think would make the game even more fun. My first idea is a new kind of weather, that will only happen on or near mountains. The snowstorm. The snowstorm will be a violent type of weather and will pile snow up everywhere. The snowstorm will contribute to my other idea, which is the avalanche. The avalanche will occur after or during a snowstorm. The avalanche will be similar to water, except it is made of snow, and players cannot go through it. An avalanche will rush down the mountainside, covering everything in its path with snow. This will add a downside to the mountains, making death more likely and the challenge of building on the mountain extremely fun.
