copper golem

The copper golem was undoubtedly one of the best mobs to vote since we would finally have a new golem after many years in addition to giving more use to copper in general and even adding an item since it lost by a difference of 4% could return in future archeology and even being found in a rusty way contributing to the lore :)

    The copper golem's introduction as a concept sparked an old Minecraft passion of mine. When I played Minecraft nearly 10 years ago at the time of its birth I watched the game flourish. As time went on I became obsessed with the iron giants and the many pumpkin wearing snowman that I had parade around my base. Eventually I was able to semi automate the process with redstone, pistons, and a dispenser block. Creating my own armies at my fingertips. Using snow golems and iron golems as assistants for redstone contraptions of my own. Involving pressure plates and newer blocks like trip wires or heavier pressure plates. The copper golem was introduced as the third and smallest but powerful member of a class of helpful mobs that have existed from the very beginning. With a newly introduced metal with very little uses at the moment aside from cosmetic building, lightning redirection, or a very hand spy glass, the copper golem seemed perfect to make use of all the copper in the overworld. Let's face it, you only need so many spyglasses and so many lightning rods. I'm sure that Mojang has other things planned for copper. But none will ever replace the idea of a button touching, 1x1x1 copper buddy that rusts in weather and adds to the band of mobs that have been a duo since the beginning. What I want as much as many others in this community, is to see a trio come to fruition. We want to see the copper golem enter the world and worlds we've been in, created by our own blocky hands.

    I still have hope that the copper golem will come back, I never got a chance to vote and if I did I would pick the copper golem. It’s such a great idea having a little guy who’s essentially just a sentient robot that makes his own choices and needs upkeep by waxing so he doesn’t rust. It’s great it’s like oiling a machine. The possibilities with just this one mob are limitless. Unlike the allay it feels more like a physical thing it’s big and does it’s own thing like a real pet. It’s also really cute. All the allay is essentially a parrot that holds things. So just a parrot fox that looks like a vex. Just seems like reused ideas. The copper golem was new and original.

    They should have like 2-3 mob votes with just mobs that didn’t win so they can have one more chance. Like once or twice a year. It might also get people more interested in the game so that’s a plus for the company

    I think that it shouldn't be for one more chance, but for multiple chances. They all deserve to be in the game, so they shouldn't be left out after voting on them again only to have them lose.

    Great idea!

    In my opinion Copper golem belong to the type of mob that have loss not because it was a bad idea but just because the other mob presented at the same time was consider as better. And it didn't loose from that many votes.

    Hello, I would recommend that you add archeology, despite being a slightly crazy idea, I would like that adding archeology add Golem to copper.
    That would be phenomenal!
    It would be incredible because with the new decorations for armor, the camels and the 1.20 thing, it would be one more use for copper and I would like it, no, WE WOULD LIKE IT, Thank you, I hope you support my idea and Goodbye.

    I highly suggest that the copper golem gets added to Minecraft using this method.

    The copper golem could significantly enhance the game's redstone mechanics and teach players the basics of programming. The golem can operate a copper keyboard, which can trigger a redstone signal. Punch cards, programmed in a keypunch block, provide the golem with step-by-step instructions, allowing it to perform a variety of tasks. You can name the punch cards when you program it, so you will know what it does. Copper golems could be used for automatic farms, weapon defense systems, storage sorting, and so much more.

    This would need to include cameras which can be activated by redstone, copper pipes, copper conveyor belts for allays, observers being able to observe if a plant is fully grown, dispensers being able to use any tool and plant seeds, and copper hoppers which do not remove items out of chests unless that specific item has been requested.

    Commenting to keep this alive, the Copper Golem really should be considered for 1.21. It shouldn't be forgotten, I was so excited when it was revealed and incredibly disappointed when the Allay surged ahead by a slim margin. The vote was incredibly close and a large portion of the community felt let down when it lost. With copper having just been added and people getting into the Steam Punk aesthetic, this seemed like the perfect addition to the game. I do like the Allay, but I do think the Copper Golem should be added. Mojang, please listen to the community on this.

    Factory block allows the copper golem go craft a specific item.

    The copper golem could ride a motorbike.

    These next updates would be the perfect time to add the copper golem with the newly announced structure and the copper blocks update.

    According to what people know, the loser mobs in the mob votes are not lost forever but put in an ideas jar waiting for the perfect opportunity to release them later, this would be the perfect chance for that golem if the directors and devs think like this.
