To prevent players cheesing the Warden by pillaring up or digging into a wall or trapping him in a boat or just drop a couple of chickens to distract the Warden, the Warden should be able execute an acoustic attack, like a battle cry. He should use the acoustic attack
- when he can not reach or pathfind to his target
- when he receives signals from more than one mob
- sporadically
The battle cry causes damage to all non-deep-dark mobs whereever it can be heard. Like all sounds in Minecraft, it goes through walls. The amount of damage is independent of the armour a mob wears, but depends on the proximity to the Warden. The effect of the battle cry can be reduced a bit, if a mob or player is fully enclosed in wool blocks.
