The Corpse Tome: Unique Allay Functionality

Dying, am I right fellas?

Well, dying sucks. Especially in lava.

Fortunately, netherite made it so your items will simply float above the lavas surface. However, trying to retrieve them will land you in the same place you started.

Enter, the corpse tome.

Crafted using 3 souls sand, 5 stone, and one golden apple: the corpse tome can be given to an allay.

Once the allay has the corpse tome, it will fly to your death location and pick up your items, bringing them back to you.

The players death location will be stored, and the allay will go there, so long as it’s within a certain radius, and will pick up all items in the general area.

I think this adds nice functionality and offers a wider use for the allay besides being a flying hopper Minecart.

  that sounds pretty interesting.  so one tome per death or something like that should be good except that the allay only has one usable slot at the moment and even though there is an option to increase it, could it pick up everything from the active chunks ('sim range) before they despawned?
