Sculk Catalyst should turn netherrack to soul sand and soul soil.

Soul sand and soul soil had to be something before they contained souls and it would make sense that the sculk catalyst would react differently to blocks from other dimensions. Soul sand and soul soil seem the make the most sense for netherrack.

    Had a similar idea myself about this; I like the idea of using netherrack for it but my original thought was to use sand and sculk blocks and/or veins to craft together to make soul sand; maybe two slightly different recipes to make each soul block variant.  It would lengthen the process and mean that it isn't farmable without player interaction.
