Creepers need to be changed!

I would like to see creepers nerfed in some way. I understand that they are an iconic mob and it is controversial to tinker with their designs and with how they work but I often fine that half of all hostile mobs I see are creepers and I find that they often come in what feels like waves leaving me to be cleaning a creeper hole only for another to ruin it. Whether it be their spawn rates reduced, some sort of better indicator of their presence, or their explosion radius reduced I feel a if creepers need a change.

(well I will keep original up I now say specifically prefer that creepers spawn rates be reduced)

    Personally, I think Creepers need more camouflage ability to add back in the terror, however, I think to balance creeper explosions should drop all the blocks versus destroying them, it's honestly the most annoying part about them is not having enough blocks to clean up afterward. Or even a toggle to nerf damage to block/structures, but it doubles the radius and power of their blasts in killing players.
