Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Boat Chests can be emptied with hoppers

If a boat chest floats over a hopper underwater it's contents should funnel into it. Imagine coming home from an adventure and docking your chest and all of your loot in automatically sent to your chests in your base! Although i do believe that only stationary boats should be able to be emptied since players might set up traps in lakes to steel from passers bys

    probably the easiest way is that a boat chest is locked so long as a player is in the boat, that way there's no snag as someone goes by, however you could set up a floating transport system with hoppers and boats as well.
