Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New textures for Mangrove wood and mud

The new mangrove wood variants look too much like jungle wood. While mangrove does look like that in real life, I feel like it doesn’t add anything to Minecraft.

 

A dark wood with a slight green/mossy texture would look better. Another idea is to completely change jungle wood and update jungle wood from old worlds to mangrove.

 

The new mud texture also doesn’t look very brown and muddy. Mojang should make this texture look more like soul soil.

    I want to quickly mention that the Mangrove wood is different. You just have to look closer. Jungle wood has more contrast and is less saturated. It is also a little bit lighter. So it is definitely a good texture.

    I agree that mud does not look like mud. That texture can definitely be improved. Maybe make it less dark.

    I like the current mangrove textures, but soul sand looks more like mud than mud.
