Allay could steal items from your friends

Ok, now with the new mob chosen (Allay), What if the Allay could "steal" your friends' items from their inventory? I sincerely believe that this ability would be a good element for the gameplay because it would be more entertaining for the player, especially in a multiplayer world or  a map. I hope my idea is taken into consideration. Thanks
