It's great that the Deep Dark is being improved! A bit of horror is what make games like Minecraft, FNAF, Among Us & Undertale so popular, spawning youtube reaction videos & creepypastas like Herobrine. A huge, abandoned city buried deep underground is a much better biome idea than mere caves with sculk. Archaeology could give maps that lead you here!
The concept arts are great, I hope that the game can match that. Hazy fog in swamps, fungi growing on tree logs, pebbles & fireflies scattered about. These details can truly bring Minecraft to life. I hope we can walk under Mangrove roots!
In the future, there should be different-colored wood & leaf blocks, such as mossy green wood, brown autumn leaves, pink cherry blossom leaves. We have too many logs & leaves with similar colors.
Solid mud is great, but the liquid mud from Minecraft Earth is very important, they allow easily renewable dirt for terraforming. There's a problem in Minecraft: most building blocks are difficult to renew, players are forced to use wood & stone for building. Renewability of items & mobs are important! It's not always possible to explore new chunks due to hardware limitations (file size in mobile, consoles).
Thanks for all the hard work! Minecraft can finally compete with mods, maybe even exceed them someday. Take inspiration from popular mods as they're often a culmination of what players want in the game. Bedrock doesn't have mods, so it'd be great if vanilla Minecraft can surpass mods!
