Soul light is unaffected by skulk shrieker

The skulk shrieker is said to dim the surrounding lights. What if soul lights like soul lanterns, soul torches, and skull campfires are unaffected by this because they have their own trapped souls. So it is like a trade-off that they do not give off much light, but they will stay glowing even when a skulk shrieker is triggered. I find it balanced because soul items are not very early game items, so your will still have to deal with the darkness as a beginner.
