A suggestion for Sticks

Depending on the type of wood used to craft the stick, the stick should have different colors. For example, Birch Wood used to make a stick should make the stick a lighter color. Same with Jungle Planks, Oak Planks, and all the other different wood types.

    I see what you mean, and this does seem cool, but the only issue I see is that the different variants wouldn't stack. Also, adding this continuity would then mean that they would need to add variants for the tool, banners, and other items.

    i would agree with this only if they implemented it in a way that crating things with said sticks were reflected in other objects  like ladders or torches or something , otherwise if its not reflected on items it would just be a item clog honestly.  ..  that said the idea of 2 tone fences made from different sticks and planks would be nice  so even tho i doubt it'll happen you get my upvote as a conversation starter.
