Microsoft tried stopping custom resource packs from being downloaded in the past like you're able to on PC and Mobile, leaving Xbox out of amazing user content. So then people created their own apps & now Microsoft is removing file access from Microsoft Store apps. This is directly in response to users downloading Minecraft content, although no public reason was given to avoid backlash it was told to someone who had their marketplace partnership status revoked due to an app titled "MC Addons Manager" causing a "loss of revenue" confirming this is entirely monetarily motivated not any other reason. They want the marketplace to be a monopoly so you can only get content from them and it hurts the user experience, it hurts the community, we will never reach the amazing heights of Java through building off each other with custom content if our tools are so limited and devices are being restricted. Make bedrock edition better, make Xbox player's experience better, give them back what you took, and what you took from unpartnered creators who rely on download revenue and now has one less very large player base to sustain them, creators who's content is now less accessible in an advertised "Progressive" and "Inclusive" community Mojang portrays. Colorblind people can't use colorblind resource packs that make the game look better for them, deaf people can't use behavior packs that warn give them visual audio cues, these are things I created that aren't accessible now
