There's not much to see in the Nether Wastes, but enter the natural Twisty Quartz Pillars and Columns which would look almost like Basalt columns when it comes to their height but will sometimes have branches of quartz pillars going out diagonally and horizontally from it.
These naturally spawning Twisty Quartz Pillar columns could be the result of an ancient volcanic eruption that turned the Nether into a wasteland. I think the Nether Wastes need to have more unique content like Twisty Quartz Pillar Columns that causes players to want to explore, not avoid, the Nether Wastes yet matches up and aligns with the word Nether Wastes.
Also, Quartz Pillar columns would look cool in a Warped Forest because it would stand out yet look natural and have some warped vines on them maybe
