If you put a cookie in a bundle, you can hand it to your pet dog and it will go around sniffing out cookies. If it finds any, the cookie will get picked up and added to the stack in the bundle. Your dog can pick up items as long as there is room in the bundle, so you can let it wander around for as long as you like before you take the bundle back. When it is full, your dog will come back to you so you can retrieve your loot.
You can give your dog many items to find instead of just 1 like the Allay. If you put a wheat, a seed, and a potato in your bundle, your dog can sniff out all 3 and they will get picked up in the bundle.
Dogs are trained to drop bundles by a note block, just like Allays, except they can also tell note blocks apart by instrument. So if you color-code your dog's collar, it will listen for the note block with the color-matched instrument and only drop it there.
After your dog drops the bundle, if you rig a dropper to drop more pre-prepared bundles, your dog will pick it up and fetch those items too, so you can keep giving it bundles over and over again. It doesn't even have to drop another bundle. You could make it drop a steak or a bone for your dog to reward it for being a good boy.
