If the Glare loses the mob vote, the Bat should get its functionality

(not my idea, it just seems a popular request) Assuming the next mob vote will see the Allay win because the Glare usefulness just doesn't compare, its ability to find spots dark enough for monsters to spawn could be given to Bats: it makes sense for them to run away from light, and it finally gives them a purpose after years of being the prime example of mobs that add nothing to the game.

    In real life bats like darkness so it just makes sense.

    I love this idea. Whether it's the Glare or the Bat, it should also have another feature: when you hold a light source, it will fly n blocks away from as many light level 1 blocks as possible, where n is the light level of the light source your holding. This would be faster, less tedious, and less visually strenuous then using F3, while still spacing your lights perfectly.

    I like the idea of taming the bat and it will perch on your shoulders like parrots do

    Maybe by feeding them spider eyes or flowers/honey, I remember that certain bats eat insects while others eat flowers nectar

    With the changes to lighting it will be less usefull compared to previous versions, but it's still a thing that will help a lot

    I think this is a GREAT idea. I personally made my own post about that the losing mobs should still be honored by adding their ideas to other areas of the game.
