The Spore Update

So I have an idea for an update to the Mushroom Islands.

The update would rework the flora and Fauna in interesting ways, adding a few new Flora and Fauna to the Mushroom biome.

Flora:

Could introduce New and fascinating Flora such as glowing mushrooms or Fungi growing on dead (or old trees)

Fauna:

Could introduce new creatures, like a fungi undead, or a shroomling that is like the baby turtle. I'd like to see a Spore plant that acts similarly to the Shulker Box.

Items:

I'd love to see items like, a Spelunker Potion added, made by something like Mushroom caps or Spores.
