Electric conduction

So I’m not sure if it’s just lightning area damage or an intended feature but it seams that a lightning rod and copper can carry a charge from lightning about 3 blocks. I wish that they would increase the number of blocks it could travel or just make it so copper can conduct electricity using a lightning rod so we can make electrical defenses. Personally I like the idea of being able to create massive electric floors with it. If a conductivity stat was added then I’d suggest giving it to Iron, gold and netherite, just with a shorter range.
