Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Upgradable tools/armour/weapons

New obsidian shards item as a rare drop from obsidian that allows you to upgrade your gear. Using obsidian shards you can upgrade your swords damage by slowly adding shards to it. Upgrade your armours damage resistance. And upgrade your tools breaking speed/duribility

    Although this would be neat, the enchantment system already does this subject!

    Yeah but this would make you able to increase damage further than you normally could in survival
