Understanding the End Dimension

It's pretty sure that we are going to get and "End Update", when? I don't know, I only remember reading a comment of one developer saying that first, they have to understand the End Dimension, and I want to share my way to view this weird but amazing Dimension.

The End is a DEAD place, that doesn't mean that has to be empty, we could find giant skeletons of ancient creatures that in the past ruled the end or rests of ender-villages where the Endermans, before an unknow disaster lived happily. Exploring the end has to give to the player some clues for knowing why in the actuality is all dead. Maybe there were a lot of ender-dragons in the past, but something killed them... Why the endermans attack the ender-dragon and in the first place, why the player has to kill the last ender-dragon?

That's how I see this Dimension, I think it has a lot of potential!
