Poisonous Potato Used for Potion of Poison

Poisonous potatoes should be able to be placed in the top slot of a brewing stand with water bottles at the bottom to brew poison potions, and when the brewing is completed, the poison in the potato is gone and the potato is turned back into a normal potato

  I read that mojang wants to keep poisonous potatoes useless
