Light Sources Light up in offhand or hand

Hi, I would really like Minecraft to add a update where every time you made a torch, and then every time you held it, it would always light up, and that would really help bc, I am scared of the dark and that would make mining more easier, because then you will be able to see what's out behind you and everywhere else, and whenever I play Optifine with torch lit up, it makes mining more easier, and I know Minecraft won't add this, but adding that to Minecraft would be really easier. Hopefully, Minecraft adds this, its big help to a lot of people, Including me.
