Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Decorative Wood Planks

Decorative wood planks would be the wood version of chiseled stone.  This could be created with a new workstation, the sawhorse which would also be used for a new villager profession of wood worker.  The wood worker could buy logs from you and sell you the decorative version of the planks.

    The decorative versions of the planks could match the doors and trapdoors of that wood type!
