- Sculk Shrieker:
- Attracts the Warden to a specific area and keeps it there when powered by redstone
- The Warden will not notice any other vibrations while it is “distracted” by a Shrieker, making it an effective defense system for players
- Can send vibrations to Sculk Sensors that are in range as well, with the added advantage that the frequency is customizable
- This means that you could have multiple Shriekers pointing at one Sensor, which can then output the received frequency using a comparator
- You can essentially compress multiple signals into a single wire this way, without any physical connection
- Sculk Catalyst:
- When Sculk blocks are placed on top of it and it receives a redstone signal, it will transmit that redstone signal through the Sculk blocks vertically and horizontally essentially creating RedPower 2-style redstone wires
- There are no signal strength limits with these Sculk wires; they can go as high and as far as you want, and will simply carry the signal strength that the sending Catalyst received
- Placing another Catalyst anywhere on the side, top or bottom of a Sculk wire will output any signals passing through the wire as a standard redstone signal; no comparators necessary
- However, you can actually send signals both ways through a Sculk wire if you use comparators on one side of a Catalyst and regular redstone dust on another
- Signals can be input to the wire by the redstone dust and will output through any comparators on the wire, minus the one next to the sending Catalys
