The Amethyst Opportunity

Amethyst, the new block that spawns in geodes, has few uses as of now. I believe that when placed under a note block, Amethyst Blocks should be able to change the note block sound to the Amethyst sound. Also, Amethyst Shards should be able to be used to make a Nether compass tp the nearest portal/ ruined portal. Also, (you've probably heard other feedback like this) I think that there should be anew amethyst shard dropping mob, so there would be less waiting for amethyst buds to grow in geodes.
