The Deep Dark is bland. Yeah, sure, it has the warden, it has the little cabin, it has the sculk veins. But I feel like it’s missing a lot of stuff. Especially mobs. The Warden is a huge part of the deep dark, but if there’s only ONE mob designated for the deep dark, it kind of seems…well… empty.
So, I think there should be a passive aggressive or neutral variant of the silverfish, called “sculk slugs”. They would be more powerful than the silverfish, but WOULD NOT attack you unless you attacked them. It would be the colors of sculk, with little bioluminescent blue dots that glow in the dark. They would be found either naturally spawning out of the deep dark or found by “sculk eggs” that would spawn around the deep dark here and there. And maybe an abundance of them would be in the center of a little “deep dark ruin” structure that would be in the center of a certain area of the deep dark.
They could also spawn in the warden’s cabin, and there would be more than one reason to have them there (as atmospheric mobs are kind of boring and have no purpose). They would drop a valuable crafting item, since the warden will lack that, and there’s a chance that the Minecraft Developers will not be able to drop special, unique, deep dark loot, they could drop like a diamond or a scrap of something.
Thank you for your time. Let’s make Minecraft better together!
