Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Quicksand

Main Idea:

I have seen requests for quicksand here and there, but I just wanna share some ideas I have about it. At first, I thought about tar pits and tar that you can smear on surfaces to make thrown items stick to stuff and not despawn, but quicksand sounds a lot better to me. It would be found in the desert, mesa, and beach biomes. It would be a very uncommon thing to have occur in your world, and the block would look like damp sand. Struggling in the quicksand makes you sink fast and being two blocks deep will make you start to suffocate. Mining the sand takes slightly longer than normal sand, and it's almost impossible to mine when you're 2 blocks deep, or it could work like powdered snow. Thank you for reading.

    To make quicksand just place a water block and soul sand under it then drop sand into it 3 blocks above.
