I've been looking at many 1.18 worlds to see the new world generation and it is absolutely gorgeous!! The mountains look amazing and I don't really have too many complaints (Although the terrain can sometimes get too crazy, either there is too much noise in the terrain or there are a ton of aquifers/caves intersecting with the terrain when it is at a lower y-level, like around sea level-- I've seen plenty of plains biomes absolutely shredded by aquifers). Anyways, one of the things I noticed is that there are barely any ocean biomes, and if there are ocean biomes, they are incredibly tiny and almost completely filled with islands. I've watched the developer video on how the new terrain works and I'm wondering if those changes accidentally made oceans a lot rarer and smaller! I thought that the pre-1.18 oceans were *somewhat* small, but the new 1.18 generation makes them absolutely tiny!
