Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Deepslate mining

I have the feeling that a Netherite pickaxe should be able to insta-mine deepslate (including Efficiency 5 ofcourse). eventually when we are able to go below Y level 0 and everything is going to be Deepslate, it feels like it would be painfully slow to make (large) adjustments to the caves. Also to counter the fact that it might go too fast when you mine regular cobblestone.. maybe (if possible) don't adjust the speed it mines cobble. i know i might be asking a lot here but it's just a thought.

    I was just talking about this with a friend - we thought of the following:

    Deep Digger Enchantment
    _________________________
    A enchantment to mine deep slate faster
    With a beacon it would enable insta-mining (Diamond/Netherite pickaxe)
    Would only have a chance to be found in ancient cities or in a buried treasure chest
    Non tradeable
    Unable to get from enchant table
