The Quartz spikes are tree like structures in the in the mega quartz mountains. They are made of crystal spikes and living quartz. Crystal spikes can be crafted into planks that face up and down instead of left and right, crystal spikes can be crafted into a special fold up crafting table at first they look like crystal planks but if you click on it will fold up and fold back down after 15 seconds you can slow this down and speed it up with red stone. These Quartz spikes generate on smoky quartz in the center of the mega quartz mountains. The living quartz can generate on the tips of the Quartz spikes. They can be crafted into a block or they can be placed on smoky quartz. They will eventually grow on the smoky quartz into Quartz spikes. The Quartz spikes can be forced to grow a certein way by there being pathways to grow in. Some growths that can occur naturally
one point (five block tall with one living quartz) 60%
trident (6 block tall with 3 points and 3 living quartz) 40%
pirceing ( 20 block tall with one living quartz) 10%
antlers (10 block tall random amount of points and antler shape) 3%
there are defenetly more natural Quartz spikes that occur but I can’t write that much with limited space.
