Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Trade-able item (map?) for finding Nether Fortresses/Bastions

I would love to see a map (or similar item) added to the loot table for Piglin bartering. I play on Bedrock, and the level of luck/RNG seemingly needed to locate a Fortress post 1.16 is frustrating. I like the idea of a map being tradeable, and I think it would fit nicely into the current game meta. 

 

I have seen similar topics suggested, but none of the OPs suggested a map being tradable by Piglin bartering, so I thought I'd start this topic. Hopefully it's not a duplicate. Thanks!

    An interesting premise, given compasses don't work in the Nether, perhaps something more like a compass tied to a loadstone in a Fortresses/Bastion. I think that would work a bit better as Map making depends on fixed, discernable directions, which the nether doesn't have, but the relative nature of the loadstone/compass mechanic could work. And could lore-wise be explained by Piglin Parties navigate back to their homes when on long treks through the nether.
