Wolves after you die

Wolves after you tame them just disappear after you die (which they shouldn't because you had tamed them and they are supposed to be teleporting to you). At least in my version of Minecraft, when I die all of my pet wolves die as well. Could you please fix this?

    normally, the wolf doesn't die, but quite often, whatever killed you will kill it.
