Make the Wooden Axe less powerfull (Java)

If you might not notice, In Java (I don't know if it's an easter egg or just an accident), the Wooden Axe makes the same damage as a Diamond Sword. This could be good in speedruns, but in PvP, FFA and Manhunts can be very problematic, lets not talk how it could be a possible problem in a Hardcore world. They are much powerfull and all it takes is 2-3 logs to make one, and easily you could kill someone with leather armour and with a bit of skills an Iron Sword.

This is as I say TOO Much, Even though, it could sometimes be helpful, there should be an option to make it less powerfull or keep it the main minecraft starter power.
