Different Wood Type Barrels

It is well known that barrels are not as used as chests, mainly because the chest have a way more easy crafting than the barrels. Apart, the barrel can't join with each other like the  chests does, so if we want to storage a lot variety of items in them, the organization became a little cumbersome. The only advantage that the barrels have is that they can be open no matter if there is a block above them, but this issue with the chests is solve when you put a plank above them, and -in most cases- that looks better than the barrel it self

So, what are really the main use of the barrels? Decoration. So, I think that it might be a good idea add different wood types of barrels to Minecraft. The chest does not need different skins depending in the wood but the barrels might gain a lot of appealing if the players have the option to choose the barrel that fits better with their buildings, and, thanks to that, the players might be more willing to craft and use the barrels to storage their items.

And, -apart of the texture creation and the code and all that- it would be very easy to make. Depending on the planks, the barrel will be the same wood type that the planks. So, thats my idea
