Cave biomes don't affect special ore distribution
In the experimental Snapshots we have a new ore generation and new Cave biomes, but we also still have special generation for Badlands and Mountains, and Cave biomes can interfere with that generation. For example, if there is a Badland on the surface, underground there will be a lot of gold. But if a lush Cave, or a dripstone caves generates underneath the Badlands, the Gold will vanish. The same goes for mountains and Emerald.
To prevent this problem, any biome located underneath another shouldn't interfere with the special ore generation of that biome. So the Badlands will still generate extra gold until the bedrock level, and the Emeralds will still generate until their y limit, even if there are other biome underneath them
