Beacons

Would it be possible to make beacons show up on the map so players could see the places that they would like to build and find those places easily with the assistance of the map, especially in survival mode or allow players to pin point places on the map, for example on the PlayStation click r3 in addition to coordinates so online players without coordinates enabled can locate major landmarks or other players/friends/team mates.
