Multiplayer update to Java

Me and my friends really enjoy playing Minecraft together. Issue is that we enjoy playing Java but it's a pain to play on a multiplayer world. Since the migration of Mojang accounts is taking place I feel like now would be a great time to implement a multiplayer system similar to Bedrock where you can add your friends, open up a world, set it to multiplayer, and invite them to join. I know there are free servers like Aternos but they usually end up being too laggy and it's a pain to wait for the server to start just so you can play for a couple of minutes.

    I agree, I play both Bedrock and Java. Its easy to set up a multiplayer world in bedrock, but its a mess with Java. I hope with the migration and the "friend system" that was mentioned at some point that we can play together on a multiplayer world w/o realms.

    We can also maybe make is like eaglercraft where you just put the code and join instead of adding an ip adress and all. With this i feel like java will actually be worth it since most players buy it since multiplayer is free.
