When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Giving barrels a use.

Something I've noticed is that I use chests instead of barrels, so I was thinking, what would give me an incentive to craft barrels over chests. I'm a redstoner in minecraft and I think perhaps making barrels moveable by pistons would be a nice change. It gives players an incentive to use barrels plus giving redstoners like myself more capabilities. This would change sorting systems forever :D

    A really cool idea. I can already imagine how when certain buttons are pressed in my warehouse, the barrel with resources I need will come out of the wall. It's really cool.

    uses of an barrel:

    • movable (yes, try in on your minecraft BEDROCK)
    • workstation for fishermen
    • can be opend even if there is a block above it
    • is a full block unlike a chest so you cannot see a hopper underneath one
