Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Permanence Enchantment

The permanence enchantment would be a new enchantment that could be applied to any tool, weapon, or armor piece.

When an item with permanence is dropped by a player, it will despawn in 10 minutes instead of five. You might be able to get different levels of permanence, with each level giving an extra five minutes before the item despawns.

Maybe instead of an enchantment it could be a permanence rune? Something that could be found in archaeology sites, and having it your inventory when you die makes the iems last longer before they despawn?
