The Bastnasite is an ore found underground, which when smelted gives Neodimium, which can be used in many ways, primarily combat.
Bastnasite ore
This ore can be found between y -30 and - 50, with a peak on y -40. The rarity will be the same as Lapis Lazuli. When broke, gives Bastnasite Chunck, which can be smelted into Neodimium Ingots.
Neodimium gear
We can upgrade our Iron gear to Neodimium gear. The defense and damage will be the same as Diamond, but the durability will be the same as Iron. Also, every piece of armor give +1 Magnetism: this means that every item floating on the ground will move towards the player, to a maximum 8 blocks of magnetic field.
Recorder
Using 7 planks, 1 Neodimium Ingot and an Amethyst shard, we can craft a Record, that will record the notes emitted by a Note Block, for 2 minutes. We can also right-click it, to listen the recorded sounds.
Magnetic detector
Crafted with 2 Neodimium Ingots, 2 Copper Ingots and 1 Redstone Dust. This item is similar to the clock, but, instead of the sun and the moon, there are the ores colors, and the color will change to indicate the most present ore on that y level. This would help with new ore generation.
Magnet
Crafted with 4 Neodimium Ingots. When powered by Redstone, it will attract any metallic item, and player can also climb it if they wear a full metallic armor (no leather or diamond), like we do with stairs.
Other uses
We can craft a block, and use it to make a compass.
