Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Amethyst Mushroom

Amethyst mushroom (Elaeomyxa Cerifera) was first discovered in 1942. This slime mold sporophores split open to release spores which sparkle like a disco ball. It could be used to make potion that makes a player sparkle. It could be grown to make a giant amethyst mushroom.
