Layer of stone under snowy mountains

I really love the new mountains seen in the snapshots, though, I think that there are some problems with them. First of all, sometimes, the snow can be seen covering plains, which isn't that realistic, but mostly, I hate to see the grass blocks under all of that snow. In real mountains, there are different layers: 

- 1: At the top snow, mixed with ice;
- 2: Right under the snow, a big layer of stone, which adds more stability to the mountain;
- 3: At the bottom, the grass.

I think another problem is the fact that the snowy mountains are too large, with that I mean that the snow extends for too far, while in real life only the high peaks get that small-medium area covered in snow.
