What is the Luck Effect?
The "Luck" Effect has been unused since the version 1.9, its purpose being to change the loot table's of structures for the better.
A possible way to include this feature into survival mode could be using a beacon, being able to obtain it with a maxed beacon pyramid, just like the Regeneration effect.
Why is this feature's topic "Caves & Cliffs"?
This feature would be benefitial for miners too. An example of using this effect could be, when you find a Mineshaft. You'd be able to find something better and if you dont have a beacon nearby, you can always keep the chest unopened for later!
There could be another twist to the effect to fit the C&C Update.
What if the luck effect could function like the fortune enchantment as well? Making ressource gathering even more easier, but only for people who worked a lot for it.
What would this feature change?
1. Finding the loot you're looking for more effiecently
Looking for a certain item in structures can be frustrating. Whether youre looking for a nametag or maybe an enchanted golden apple, youd be able to find it quicker, but for a high price!
2. Bringing your beacon while adventuring.
For the most part, you always leave beacons at your main settlements in your world, rarely moving it afterwards. This feature could change that, whether youre trying to find better gear in the end or you just want to get more diamonds from a desert temple you just found.
