Copper should take the same amount of time to oxidize in the overworld. But when in the nether because of science there is less oxygen due to the fire so it should take longer to oxidize and the in the end because the environment can sustain such a large animal i would guess there is a lot of oxygen so should oxidize quicker. This could then be taken further where is a copper block is within 9 blocks of fire or a campfire it could take a bit longer and if its within 9 blocks of chorus plants it is a bit quicker. This would then cause 5 different speeds of oxidisation, Slowest (in nether), Slower (overworld near fire), Normal (overworld), Faster (near chorus plant), Fastest (in end)
