Snowy giant spruce taiga

After exploring the new terrain generation on the experimental snapshots , I noticed the Giant Spruce Taiga was more common around mountains. But it looks odd because it can be surrounded by snow and there is just a brown patch of ground. So, my idea is that when a Giant Spruce Taiga spawns on or around a mountain a snowy version of it should spawn instead.
